Artists* natalie ananda assmann and Maximilian Prag design a performative installation that gives existential hope between Climate Anxiety, beta blockers and queer future utopias of the "here and now" and the confidence that somewhere in the chaos of our time there is an order. Analogous to phenomena like #corecore on TikTok, where content turns against the medium in a Dadaist manner, they take a critical look at virtual life concepts, exit strategies and escapism, and shed light on attempts to prevent a paradigm shift, through the climate movement. Between hyper-emotionality and hybrid human-animal VR bodies, STAR of XanaX works on the condition of a generation that cannot imagine a future (offline).
